ADA's Investing at large in Cutting-Edge Technology for TEDBF Fighters!

ree

The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in India is focusing on the development of the Twin-Engine Deck-Based Fighter (TEDBF) for the Indian Navy. The TEDBF project involves ensuring the aircraft's readiness for carrier operations.

Accurate positioning and orientation are vital for the success of automatic takeoff and landing systems on aircraft carriers. ADA recognizes the need for precise positioning, particularly for carrier-based landings.

ADA is collaborating with the Indian Navy to address these challenges by investing in various technologies. These include achieving a high Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and low Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) to maintain aircraft readiness, implementing on-condition maintenance for quick turnaround times, and enhancing low-speed control and auto-throttle systems. Additionally, ADA is developing a fully Automatic Carrier Landing System (ACLS) to streamline carrier-based operations.

The ultimate goal is to ensure that TEDBF Deck-Based fighter jets are combat-ready and capable of meeting the demanding requirements of naval aviation, regardless of operational scenarios.
