Bengaluru Startup Behind 1 of 9 Satellites Deployed by ISRO’s PSLV Rocket

Oceansat (EOS-06), an Earth observation satellite, and eight nano-satellites were launched aboard a PSLV-C54 rocket by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Saturday.

The presence of three nano-satellites created by two Indian companies adds to the significance of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle's (PSLV) year's last mission.

a start-up situated in Bengaluru Anand, Pixxel's third hyperspectral satellite, was launched by the PSLV. The business carried out its maiden launch from Indian soil with this one.

This occurs following the launch of Vikram-S, India's first privately constructed rocket, on November 18. Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited, a startup with headquarters in Hyderabad, created it.

Dhruva Space, located in Hyderabad, also launched two Thybolt satellites. These nanosatellites for amateur (ham) radio transmission are meant to assist radio hobbyists all over the world.

Dhruva Space's Satellite Orbital Deployer was successfully tested and space-qualified on the PSLV-C53 in June 2022.
