MTAR inks MoU with IN-SPACe India for developing satellite launch vehicle

MTAR Technologies announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) for the design and development of a two-stage, all-liquid small satellite launch vehicle for low earth orbit.

The 500 kg payload capacity satellite launch vehicle will be fueled by semi-cryogenic technology.

Both parties have signed a framework memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cover a range of requirements, such as avionics, subsystem testing, launch facilitation, etc., as well as any additional needs that may arise throughout the design, development, and launch phases. The Memorandum of Understanding is valid for three years.

The business is currently making a big step forward to go from precise engineering to full system integration by starting work on a two-stage, all-liquid small satellite launch vehicle project with a payload capacity of 500 kg for low earth orbit.
